We can’t wait to kick off another great season with our players and families in 2026. It’s an especially exciting year as football across Aotearoa enters a new chapter with the release of New Zealand Football's Whole of Football 2.0 framework.

Whole of Football 2.0 is built on three years of research, focusing on fun, skill development and keeping kids engaged in the game for life.

What’s changing?
🔹 More small-sided games
🔹 More touches on the ball
🔹 Better preparation for 11v11 at U14
🔹 Greater involvement for goalkeepers

The research is clear: smaller formats mean more engagement and faster learning. Players in the new pathway gain on average:

⚽ 3,800+ extra touches
🧤 1,300+ more goalkeeper actions

Join our MILO Fantails programme. Open to all girls aged 8-12 years old, to introduce them to the beautiful game through sessions focused on helping girls make friends, having fun, improving their skills and being active through football.
