Following on from the AGM held on the 25th November 2025, the club has determined that while there were 24 members present, the quorum of 20 voting members was not reached. This has resulted in a requirement to call the AGM again. We encourage all members to read the notification below regarding the 2025 AGM and follow the links and forms relevant to the AGM.

Nominations for officers and executive members and questions relating to the proposed constitution are to be submitted in writing to the secretary at Secretary@bayolympic.co.nz no later than 5:00pm on the 6th December 2025.

We are updating our Constitution
New legislation – the Incorporated Societies Act 2022 – requires all incorporated societies in NZ to re-register by April 2026. This Act replaces the old 1908 legislation and brings modern governance standards, clearer officer duties, and updated processes for society operations. To ensure Bay Olympic is fully compliant, we’ve updated our Constitution.

Next steps for members:
Members will vote on adopting the updated Constitution at our AGM on the 16th December 2025.

Bay Olympic are seeking expressions of interest from coaches (minimum NZF OFC C license) interested in working with our women’s first team.

We have a good group of existing players and an exciting group graduating from our girls TDP program. We see the next few years as a fantastic opportunity to improve both the standing of our first team (currently in League One) and overall female pathways at the club.

Good luck to our U17s Women’s team and coaches Mark & Charli for the Western Springs tournament that starts this Thursday. Our first game is 12pm against Melville United.

We’re inviting girls born in 2012 and 2013 who are interested in being part of our U14 Lotto NRFL Youth Girls League team for the 2026 season.

Our Talent Development Programme (TDP) gives players the opportunity to train and play alongside the best in their age group — developing skills, teamwork, and performance at a high level.

Identification Sessions:

Last game of the tournament we go down to an unbeaten Fencibles 3-0. What a weekend! Girls can be proud of their performance in their first ever U19s tournament 💚

Our girls faced Auckland United, who are currently sitting second in the pool. They put in a strong performance but went down 2–0. It’s been great to see how well they’ve competed throughout the tournament, especially as such a young team. 💚

Day 1 done and dusted! Two wins and a loss. In their last game the girls defeated Hamilton Wanderers 1-0 with Hazel scoring ⚽️.

Tomorrow we have Auckland United and Fencibles. Lessh go!! 💚
